Duncan's road near Hall's creek

Sawpit Gorge we had a great three days here swimming and sky-larking the boys even had a go at fishing, again but still no luck but it was good fun trying.
White Dragon flower tree we finally found one close enough to get a photo they grow along a lot of the creeks but are difficult to photograph as they are so tall, beautiful flowers and the birds love them.

Little local at Sawpit Gorge

Palm Spring another nice little place along Duncan's road, we didn't stay here just had a look.

Town signs nearly all that's left of Old Hall's Creek which was a mining town they moved it in 1956 or so to where it is now on the main road.

Old Hall's creek post-office made out of termite mound mud, they now have the ruin under a roof to try and preserve what's left of it. The story goes that in about 1915 the post-master did surgery on a fellow on his counter with a pocket knife and a razor blade and he lived the patient that is.

Grevillia blossom the bees love it.

My oh my that's a big one.

and more!!

Still more so many shapes and colors their everywhere.

These are taken in Bungle Bungle the photos really don't do the colors justice, I think I've said that before

Loos at Bungle Bungle
Dome walk they look for all the world like bee-hives.

Giant bee-hives

China wall not far out of Hall's creek we actually had a few days out here before we went into the Bungles.

The things you see in funny places, a backpacker had ridden out to this place (on a very bumpy dirt road) and parked it against the tree while she had a swim.

Lunch at Caroline Pool, where we meet the bike riding backpacker.
