And so ends our Horizontal Fall's adventure wonderfull, amazing, and just plain good fun. Back to Broome now to replace a battery charger and then turning south towards Port Hedland and all the great coastal things to see and do.
Derby from the air
Looking down at the mud flats and you can see where the water remains- where the green is

These areas dry out the mangroves keep it all together

Beautiful beaches but no-one can get there unless they go by boat.

Flying over the Archipelago

Looking down from the plane

Horizontal Fall's so narrow and so much water the area between the two openings is a lot lower though you can't see.

Here you can see both openings this was taken from the air.

Fast boat about to go through it's fairly dangerous they do a great job as the incoming water pushes you forward but also side-ways.

Looking through the Horizontal Fall's there is over a metre drop just here and it becomes more by the time you get to the other side.

Local bitie that comes visit at night they are very inquisative

Joy one of the other ladies, Bill and myself enjoying an evening on board.

Oops got this one twice, sorry

Bill and his fish, not huge but he was very pleased and it was very tasty a Blue Line Emperor they call it.

Moon-light

Too little, too pretty this one went back

Comorant having a feed

Turtle watching around the reef at low tide, this reef was a metre higher than where we where and then it gets covered with the incoming tide. No pretty colors here as it's too muddy but plenty of turtles and bird life. Cooling off on board as you can't swim off the back because of sharks, very pleasant anyway

Whale watching we saw a Mum and her calf really close but hard to get photos

Swim tank at Silver Gull, it was originally a water tank and the put a top on it (shade mesh) and kept the water running and now they have a swimming tank complete with table and chairs in the water no less, great fun but don't get sploshed otherwise you won't get out.

This is the loo at Silver Gull it actually works but you flush it with a bucket, what a view!!!!
