Camballin River Camp

This is the Ullara creek just out of a tiny town called Camballin about 70k's north of Derby we had a lovely four days here but still no fish I don't think we are meant to catch a Barramundi. We did meet some lovely people and all up had a lovely time.
Star finches -firetails having a drink at the side of the river, watch the crocs little fellas!!

Our outdoor shower the water is only heated from the sun but very nice even so.We had trouble finding the phone box "I wonder why" no phone service out here the people that live here must have statelite phones or use the public phone. There is an aboriginal community near here and the teachers and nurse all live in Camballin you would want to like the quiet life I can tell you one tiny little shop and not much else.

Beautiful White Dragon Flower tree along the river bank the only thing is they are so tall that if your not looking you would miss them.
