We visited Horrock Beach and the river near there is called Bowes River they have a lot of dirt bike riding out this way in the sand dunes.
Just out of Kalbarri at Rainbow valley Gail is pointing the way.

Pink lake at Port Gregory the color is caused by a bacteria growing in the salt granules and they harvest it for the Beta Carotene the same stuff that is in carrots.

Pink lakes at Port Gregory how amazing where they!!

Port Gregory foreshore they have a real problem with sand drift around here, it must get very windy. We didn't try but it look like good snorkeling we'll keep that in mind for next time.

Mushroom rock at Kalbarri
Blue and gold Macaw parrots at Rainbow Jungle at Kalbarri they have a very good breeding program and it was really lovely to see them all especially in the free flight area.

Gail and Bill at Rainbow Jungle Kalbarri. Whats that on Bills head???

Red and green Macaws they where very friendly and didn't want us to leave once we started to talk to them what a pair!!

King parrot at Rainbow Jungle Kalbarri

Love the grass trees "black boys" as they where previously known.

Two chickie babes going for a snorkel, Gail was really worried about sharks, nah we don't taste good enough these days.

Kalbarri ocean front, the Murchison River comes out into this bay and it becomes very turbulent at times especially when the wind comes up.

Wind surfer near Kalbarri, how clever was he zipping along at a million miles a minute and doing tricks into the bargain.

Dredging at Kalbarri their sea access becomes all silted up so they dredge it.W

Wild, wild ocean

Sooo many lovely flowers it would be wonderful up here a little earlier as most things are nearly finished now

Travelling from Denham (Shark Bay) there where so many wildflowers along the road. We are heading for Kalbarri.

Back to front here but this is the road home and as you can see it was getting late-ish but we still saw heaps of wild-life they have a vermin proof (well almost) fence at the bottom of the peninsular which has pretty much gotten rid of the foxes, goats and they removed the sheep so that only leaves the feral cats and they bait and trap them evens so there are still a few around but the native fauna is starting to win. Cape Peron "color"

Cape Peron

and again!!

and again.

Sea-shells by the sea shore at Cape Peron right at the tip. Cape Peron the colors where wonderful very like Cape Leveque.

Cape Peron really pretty place but here there is no actual camping spots.

Looing at the Comorant Conference from another angle so many birds and they where all facing the sun.

Looking the otherway from Skipjack Point the cliffs where actually red.
