Alice Springs continued

What a great day we left early a drove out the Ross River Hwy heading for Ruby Gap and visited a couple of great places along the way we had morning tea at John Hayes Rockhole and went for a nice little walk up the gorge and then around the rim, meet some nice people that we originally meet at Coober Pedy "small world" as they say.

Unfortunately the road into Ruby Gap was washed away they have had some pretty big floods up this way recently and the roads are not repaired yet even so Teraphin Gorge was worth the drive also Corroboree Rock beautiful country side the East McDonnell Ranges love the colours and it is so green and lush at the moment. Fuel prices at Ross River Resort where a bit high $2.23/litre glad we didn't have to buy any there the dearest we have seen on the way up was $1.71 at some road-house but with the double fuel tank we lasted to Alice which was great.
