Oysters anyone, fresh as we collected them about 2hrs before we ate them or rather they ate them I don't like oysters
Coming into Croc Creek another place that we went to swim, can't swim off the Cat as the sharks soon find you. Here we went up a ladder to the top where there was a lovely pool and a little waterfall, magic I keep saying that but it really was.
Swim beach and just around those rocks is where the boys collected the oysters.

Heading away from the "Kimberley Cat" for an excursion
The dark mark is the high tide and the colors are magic this photo really doesn't do it justice the sun was in the wrong place. We're still on Talbot Bay here
Eagle checking us out. Crab for dinner so easy to get about an hour and we had enough for the eight of us for dinner.
Nathan our skipper with Bill's shark only a little one but what a fight he put up Bill thought he had a whale on the line.
Party boat that we used to get out and about in off to the beach for a swim or crabbing, fishing, picking oysters or just cruising around watching the bird life. We saw whales, dolphins, turtles and heaps of birds.

Our cabin for the cruise / We're still on the Barra Shack where we landed and that's the falls behind us I still look a bit green from the flight but Bill is feeling no pain a la pills!!
Aerial view just outside of Derby over the mud-flats.
This is the sea-plane that took us out to Talbot Bay where the Catamaran was waiting for us

Derby picture theatre, currently not operating but their working on it apparently has one of the oldest projectors still working in Aust.
New play area at the Derby swimming pool we had the place to ourselves.
Ships prop that a tree has grown around.
Derby wharf or rather boat ramp, very high tides here what they call a spring tide is a 12m whopper but it only happens that big twice a year. Other times it's between 6-8m still a huge tide.
New buildings going up everywhere in Derby
Hi folks, well from Camballin we headed back into Derby to wait for our Horizontal Fall's adventure. At least this time it didn't rain in Derby and we had a nice visit even found their swimming pool not that the locals use it at this time of the year. The people who own The Point the restaurant down at the wharf also own the Burny Island tour boat how about that. We rode the bike and in general had a lazy time.
