Leaving Port Port Augusta we didn't get far our friends had a little hiccup with their van and we spent the day waiting for them to get it fixed "all's well that ends well " as they say.
We ended up camping at a little place called Pimba "Spuds Roadhouse" who know why they call it that very windy and really only a place to pull in and camp for the night.
Moving on the next day we called into Woomera which means "launching stick" in aboriginal and is where they did all the atomic testing years ago not much there now but still interesting.
We where heading for Coober Pedy but only got about 40K's down the road and our friends van had another problem something to do with the bearings and axle so there we where 140K's from CP and couldn't move the van, Bill pulled it apart and the boys took off for CP to get it fixed or at least enough for us to be able to move it. We have mangaged to get to Coober Pedy the next and we will be here until it gets fixed big expense for them as you can image poor buggers!!
